Tamer outlines the professional journey of someone who pursued higher education abroad, earning his degree in China. During his university years, he provided translation and consultancy services to Turkish business people, gaining experience in import-export through these interactions.
Post-graduation, recognizing a business need, he established a company in Guangdong, China, focusing on sourcing products from China for clients primarily in Turkey and other global markets. Leveraging his family’s strong connections in Turkey’s tourism industry, he expanded his business to include product sourcing for hotel projects. This involved coordinating with hotel investors, architects, and purchasing teams on trips to China to visit factories and showrooms, ensuring tailored product selections.
While managing these business activities, he completed a master’s degree in International Trade in Hong Kong. Eventually, driven by both his professional expertise and family interests, he returned to Turkey to establish Bienal, extending his family business into the international market.
